The Epson P-4000 Multimedia Storage Viewer allows you to download digital photos and movies onto its 80Gb hard-drive and then view them on its 3.8 inch colour LCD screen. The Epson P-4000 has built-in card slots for Compact Flash and SD memory cards. The Epson P4000 will be of particular interest to digital SLR camera users as it can show a preview of some RAW file formats as well as JPEGs. You can connect the P-4000 directly to a PC or TV and it will even print directly onto compatible Epson printers. In addition the Epson P4000 can play digital music in the form of MP3 and AAC files. Panasonic today introduced the new LUMIX DMC-FX3, a 6-megapixel camera with f/2.8 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 35 mm to 105 mm on a 35 mm film camera) LEICA DC lens, featuring MEGA O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabilizer) and max. ISO 1600 high sensitivity mode.

Samsung Announces Digimax S700 and Digimax S1000 Digital Cameras
Samsung has added two new cameras to their “S” line of digital cameras. The 7 megapixel Samsung Digimax S700 and 10 megapixel Digimax S1000 will be avaialble in August. The S700 has an MSRP of $249 and the S1000 has an MSRP of $349.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 Digital Camera Announced
Panasonic has announced the successor to their very popular FZ30 ultra-zoom camera. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 features a 10.1 megapixel sensor and Panasonic’s new Intelligent ISO Control system. This 12x zoom, MEGA OIS stabilized camera will be available in September for an MSRP of $649.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 Digital Camera Announced
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 is all about wide. This successor to the LX1 sports a wide angle lens, a wide format CCD, and a wide LCD. All that and it looks good too. The LX2 is a 10.2 megapixel camera and it will be available in September at an MSRP of $499.
